Chrysant Lily KusumowardoyoChrysant Lily Kusumowardoyo (Lily) is one of the researchers at the Center for Health Policy and Management (CHPM), Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta. She is particularly involved at the research project funded by the Australia – Indonesia Partnership for HIV (AIPH), which investigates the level of integration between HIV and AIDS policy/programming and the health system in Indonesia. As a recipient of StuNed Scholarship 2005/06, she studied at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) Erasmus University The Hague, and completed her MA in Development Studies with major on Gender and Development. Her graduate research was on the right-based approach to sexuality education, where she studied the experience and views of Indonesian parents and adolescents in the Netherlands who were exposed to such approach.

Since 2007, Lily has been workingat several international development organizations both in Indonesia and overseas. From her working experiences in various settings, Lily has built a niche expertise in training, mentoring, and program management within the context of development, particularly in the areas of gender, child welfare, and volunteer management. On the latter issue, she has facilitated training for the United Nations Volunteers, Komnas Perempuan, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (among others). Lily has a wide range of interest, but she is passionate on expanding her knowledge in health policy issues.
