Kabar24.com, BATU - Penderita HIV/Aids di Kota Batu, Jawa Timur, cenderung menunjukkan tren yang meningkat. Kondisi tersebut mengundang keprihatinan Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Kota Batu karena penderitanya termasuk ibu rumah tangga.

Plt Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kota Batu, Sri Rahati, mengatakan saat ini tercatat ada 136 penderita HIV/Aids yang tinggal di Kota Batu. Dari jumlah itu 50 penderita di antaranya sudah meninggal dunia.

"Oh God, a lesion," I gasped. All of a sudden, images of voluntarily opt out of treatment like I once did, the pictures I obsessively googled when I seroconverted, came flooding back to me. I was disgusted -- with God, the universe, humanity andmyself.

"It's begun," I thought. "I'm dying of AIDS."

Banjar, (harapanrakyat.com),- Sejumlah kader peduli HIV-AIDS di wilayah Kecamatan Langensari, Kota Banjar, mengeluhkan susahnya meminjam kendaraan operasional desa ketika akan merujuk warga yang sakit ke RSU Banjar.

Hal itu diungkapkan Rika Setiawati, salah satu kader, kepada HR, Sabtu (17/01/2015). Menurutnya, kesulitan itu pernah dialaminya saat hendak membantu mengantar salah seorang warga yang kondisi kesehatannya sudah sangat lemah.
