Research Protocol - Case Studies on Integration of HIV and AIDS Response within Health Systems and Effectiveness of HIV and AIDS Response in Sub-National Level
The objective of integrating AIDS response into existing health system is to strengthen the effectiveness, efficiency and equity of the response and the system. However, only few studies provide evidence on the benefit of the integration of AIDS response and health system toward the effectiveness of the AIDS response as well as the health system. In order to provide evidence on the benefit of integration on the effectiveness, the study aims to analytically determine the influence of integration between AIDS response and health system on the effectiveness of the program and to identify mechanism in which the integration contribute to the effectiveness of the program.
