Swasti SempulurSwasti Sempulur is a researcher assistant at Center for Health Policy and Management (CHPM), Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University. One of her main duty is manage website content on HIV and AIDS policy including regular thematic articles, Community of practice, and up date all events related with CHPM activities. Furthermore, as researcher assistant she also actively engaged in all research conducted by CHPM – AIDS Policy. She is anthropologist with almost 10 years experiences working in HIV and AIDS response in various local and international NGOs. She is well trained in HIV/AIDS specific intervention such as Harm Reduction (HR) program, sexual transmission program particularly for female sex worker sexual and reproductive health on migrant worker program. In addition, she also has experience in other health related program such as Malaria program and strengthening leadership and management capacities for health services delivery. She also has good knowledge on monitoring and evaluating program implementation and experiences in both quantitative and qualitative research.

Ita PerwiraIta Perwira is a researcher at Center for Health Policy and Management (CHPM), Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University. She is a medical doctor with seven years professional experiences in various NGOs and other international organizations, particularly in public health and community development sector. She just completed her Master’s in Public Health on a full scholarship from NZAid at the University of Auckland’s Population Health Department. She also has Master in Epidemiology from University of Indonesia’s Public Health Department. She has a good knowledge on NGO/CSO terms including project design, direct management, monitoring & evaluation, and closeout program, with special emphasis on health especially in HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health and TB; and also education and community development. She has experiences in both qualitative and quantitative research, including the development of project design/management of health impact, and other technical evaluations.

Chrysant Lily KusumowardoyoChrysant Lily Kusumowardoyo (Lily) is one of the researchers at the Center for Health Policy and Management (CHPM), Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta. She is particularly involved at the research project funded by the Australia – Indonesia Partnership for HIV (AIPH), which investigates the level of integration between HIV and AIDS policy/programming and the health system in Indonesia. As a recipient of StuNed Scholarship 2005/06, she studied at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) Erasmus University The Hague, and completed her MA in Development Studies with major on Gender and Development. Her graduate research was on the right-based approach to sexuality education, where she studied the experience and views of Indonesian parents and adolescents in the Netherlands who were exposed to such approach.

Since 2007, Lily has been workingat several international development organizations both in Indonesia and overseas. From her working experiences in various settings, Lily has built a niche expertise in training, mentoring, and program management within the context of development, particularly in the areas of gender, child welfare, and volunteer management. On the latter issue, she has facilitated training for the United Nations Volunteers, Komnas Perempuan, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (among others). Lily has a wide range of interest, but she is passionate on expanding her knowledge in health policy issues.
