PENDIDIKAN kesehatan reproduksi sangat penting disampaikan kepada generasi muda untuk mencegah beberapa masalah, termasuk kematian usia dini. Salah satu strategi yang disusun adalah melalui program Generasi Berencana (GenRe).

With the issue of HIV related stigma and discrimination being addressed in the state, I have attempted to put more light on the issue. There is need to understand the issue, not only in relation to the children who are facing discrimination, but close to 14,000 odd HIVpositive individuals found positive in Goa. Rivona case should help us to strategize for a long term impact.
Goa had set an example to the rest of country three decades ago and had created an impact in addressing HIV-related stigma and discrimination. India's first HIV litigation arose when HIVpositive activist Dominic D'Souza was incarcerated in the late 1980s. D'Souza, a resident of Goa, was found to be HIVpositive when he donated blood at a Goa hospital. The test was performed without his knowledge or consent, and the results were revealed not to him, but to the local police.

There is a marked increase in the number of HIV (AIDS) patients by 19 percent annually, according to Mosa Hiaza'a, director of the Saudi Charity Association for AIDS Patients.
"The association has registered 630 HIV patients this year which is a hundred percent increase over last year," Hiaza'a said quoting the latest statistics issued by the association in June 2014. He added that most of the patients were men.
He said that 2,500 patients live with their families and are in touch with the association which provides them with services and a variety of emotional or educational programs.

KEMBANGAN (Pos Kota) – Sebanyak 244 pasien pengguna narkoba jarum suntik ikut Program Terapi Rumatan Metadon (PTRM) di tiga Puskesmas kecamatan di Jakarta Barat. Program ini untuk memutus mata rantai penularan HIV/AIDS dari pengguna narkoba akibat penggunaan jarum suntik yang tidak steril.
Kasudin Kesehatan Jakarta Barat, Widyastuti mengatakan tiga Puskesmas yang melayani terapy metadon yaitu Kecamatan Tambora, Cengkareng dan Grogol Petamburan. " Saat ini jumlah pasien PTRM di Jakarta Barat yang tersebar pada tiga Puskemas tersebut sebanyak 244 orang," jelasnya, kemarin.

Metrotvnews.com, Cianjur: Penderita HIV/AIDS di Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat, banyak didominasi pasangan yang sudah menikah. Rata-rata penyebaran utamanya akibat bergonta-ganti pasangan dan jarum suntik.
Menurut Sekretaris Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS (KPA) Kabupaten Cianjur Hilman, di Kabupaten Cianjur, penyebab HIV/AIDS hampir 88% akibat hubungan seksual. Hampir separuh penderitanya atau 48% merupakan pasangan menikah.
